Advertising on Favilous will provide you with coverage across an established user base. Here are some of the advertising possibilities which we will offer in the near future.
Our featured sites are shown on the home page and within the Sites page when a user is logged in. You will be able to be part of the featured list. We will match your site with users who like your type of site.
Every day we feature a Favilous User on the Home Page, and when the user is logged in. You will be able to feature on both on any given day!
Every new Favilous user gets a set of default links to websites when they sign-up. You will be able to be one of those default site and will be one of the first sites our users see when they sign-up with us.
We provide a Discovery section where users can discover new sites based on what others are bookmarking. You will be able to feature on the Discovery page so users can see what you are bookmarking. We expect that we will take cues from your RSS feed if you have one.
FavSearch (the box at the top right of every page) does more than search. You will be able to bid on a default prefix so that users can be redirected to your site to search your content or perform some other function. To see what we mean, type g.something into FavSearch.
Advertise the sites you like, or your own blogs, articles etc. by signing-up for a Favilous Account.
When you sign-up, you get your own Favilous page, which users can visit and for example see your own branded backdrop, or the blogs you've linked to, or see websites to which you have some affiliation.
As an example, type user.favilous into FavSearch (at the top right of every page). This is our own page which we use to highlight the sites we think our users might like.
